I’m Jay Sain, a multi-cultural filmmaker and photographer currently based in Boston, Massachusetts.
Over the years, I've refined my artistic skills through gaining formal education, supporting various media production companies, and collaborating with peers across the globe. I'm always looking to grow as a creative and gain new experiences.
As an artist, I always strive to transform life’s monotony into an aesthetic product, whether it be experimental cinema/animation, film photography/filmmaking (16mm/35mm/120), life drawing, and abstract art. I think there’s lost beauty found in everyday life. I’m drawn to capturing these moments with simplicity in my photography and chaos in my experimental films.
Beyond the image, I also enjoy making ambient loops, learning guitar, geeking out over technology, and cooking and learning about Asian cuisine.
